Tell me about DVD Cover & Disc Art.

These designs are made to be printed from your inkjet printer on inkjet paper. The DVD cover designs are sized to fit a standard DVD case. Cut off the excess paper so it fits into the sleeve of the DVD case. The disc art can be printed directly to the cd or DVD disc if your printer supports it. If you do not have one of these print-direct-to-disc printers, the design can be printed to an adhesive label and the label can be applied to the disc. All designs are high resolution files that produce high quality prints. You can use your favorite imaging editing program to add words, pictures, or other graphic elements to our designs for a more customized look. Just remember to use photo quality inkjet paper for best results.

Tell me about Background Background Loops.

Video Background Loops are short video clips containing animated graphic elements. Some of its uses are found in DVD menu backgrounds, slide show intros, and video transitions. They can bring life to many DVD video and slide show projects. They can be further customized by adding words, pictures, or other graphic elements using your favorite video editing software. Our Background Loops are compressed with the Photo Jpeg Codec provided in the free Apple Quicktime Player. This allows us to deliver the video clips in a small enough file size that can be downloaded to your computer. Please make sure your video editing software or slide show program will work with our Background Loops before purchasing. Chances are your video editing program will accept our video background loops as most editing programs today accept Quicktime movies.

Does the media I download have a watermark on it?

No. Any media you purchase from our site do not contain any watermarks. We only ask you to adhere to our licensing agreement when using our media files.

Other companies charge up to $100 per media! How can you offer yours for that much less?

We are able to offer our media for a much lower price by selling it in volume. By keeping our prices competitive, more visitors will want to purchase our media, making it affordable for everyone. Also, since we create all the media ourselves, we don't have to pay anyone to sell it.

What is RGB and CMYK?

RGB are the colors you see on your monitor. CMYK are the colors you see on printed material. Most printers print using the CMYK color profile. However, some newer printers prefer using the RGB color profile to print from. For this reason, we provide both RGB and CMYK color profiles of our DVD Cover & disc art designs. If printing from one color profile doesn't look right, try the other profile.

Can the media be used on Macs and PCs?

Yes. All our media, DVD cover & disc art and the video background loops, can be used on both Macs and PCs. Just follow the instructions on our "How It Works" page in unzipping the DVD cover & disc art files. And make sure you have Apple's Quicktime player so you can play and use your purchased background loops.

How can I be sure your video background loops work with my software?

Just download our free sample clip from our Homepage or Video Background page. Test it out on your software and see if you can import it or not. Remember, you must have Apple's Quicktime free player in order to play the video. You can download the free player at apple.com.

Can I use your media in an online gallery?

No, you may not create an online gallery with our media. Our website contains online galleries and any reference to our media in your own online gallery is stricly prohibited without permission from InstantImagers. Even the purchased media is not allowed to be used in an online gallery. Please read our Licensing Agreement regarding usage of our media.

Can I sell my projects or templates using your media?

No. Any project using our media cannot be redistributed in any form. Our media can be used for wedding videos, tv commercials, or dvd movies for your own clients. However, you cannot use our media and resell it or distribute it as your own in any way, shape or form.

If I modify the media, can I claim copyright to that media?

You may modify the media and use it in a project. However, we own all copyrights to the original media being used and you may not claim any copyrights to that media. Instant Imagers continues owning rights to any of our media that may have been modified by you.

Can I sell the media that I download?

No, you may not sell the media that is downloaded from Instant Imagers. You can use the media in publication materials, websites, or video projects, but Instant Imagers owns the licenses on its media and that media may not be resold or redistributed.

Where can I use Instant Imagers media?

All our media can be used in personal dvd projects and commercial projects. There is no restriction on its usage. However, there is a restriction on its distribution (ie. Any of our media can be used in tv commercials, dvd movie projects, or personal home videos as many times as you wish. There is no limit on the number of times the media can be used. You can use our media in a project for a client and sell the project to the client. However, the client cannot use our media in another project as they did not purchase any rights to using the media. Also, you cannot sell off our media to your client and call it your own).

How do you protect my credit card and personal information?

All our billing transactions are processed through Paypal. We do not store or keep a database of any personal or credit card information. Paypal is a very secure online credit card processing company. How do I make a purchase?

Select the design(s) and add them to your shopping cart. When you're done selecting all your designs, checkout via Paypal's secure online processing system. After your payment is made and verified by your credit card company, you will receive an email sent to the email address you entered during payment processing. The email will contain your username/password including the link that takes you to our download area. In most instances, the email containing the download information is sent within seconds. However, if your credit card payment verification is delayed, the receipt of the email download instructions may take longer. What is your refund policy?

We have no refund policy. Due to the nature of our website, we implement a no refund policy. This is to prevent freeloaders from making a purchase and requesting a refund so they can download our media for free. Please make sure you are able to use our media before purchasing a download.
